Atlanta Technical College Joins Forces with OneGoal to Strengthen Postsecondary Pathways
ATLANTA, GA, September 22, 2025—Atlanta Technical College (ATC) and OneGoal today announced a new partnership to expand postsecondary opportunities for Atlanta’s high school students. The collaboration will connect students to high-quality technical credential and certification programs, provide critical transition support from high school to college, and deliver wraparound services that help students persist and complete their chosen programs.
“At Atlanta Technical College, we believe every student deserves a clear, supported path to economic mobility and personal fulfillment,” said Dr. Victoria Seals, President of Atlanta Technical College. “This partnership with OneGoal strengthens our commitment to equity and access by ensuring that more students—especially those from underserved communities—can confidently transition into high-quality technical programs that lead to thriving careers and transformed lives.”
OneGoal is a national nonprofit dedicated to transforming college and career advising so every student has the support they need to achieve their greatest aspirations, which may include a college degree or another pathway such as trade school, apprenticeship, or other high-quality career-connected learning opportunity. The organization works with school districts to make postsecondary planning a core part of the high school experience, guiding students through comprehensive advising and support.
“Our one goal is to guide students to the best possible postsecondary pathway on their way to life and career,” said OneGoal Executive Director Taylor Ramsey. “This new partnership with ATC is a critical part of our strategy to ensure that students can access high-quality technical credentials and certification programs.”
The partnership between ATC and OneGoal will:
- Expose students to career-connected pathways, including credential and certification programs
- Provide transition supports to help students successfully move from high school to ATC
- Share data to support student persistence and completion
- Collaborating to provide wraparound services to strengthen student outcomes
This partnership represents a significant step forward in creating a stronger, more equitable support system for Atlanta students as they transition from high school to postsecondary education and into meaningful careers. About OneGoal
OneGoal transforms postsecondary advising and support so that every student can define their own future. Together with our partners, we’re building a movement to close the opportunity gap. We work side-by-side with partner schools and districts to build their knowledge and capacity. The result is more equitable and effective support for all students. Since our inception, OneGoal has reached over 150,000 students with our unique approach, honed over 15 years, which prioritizes strong human relationships. And it’s proven to deliver real student impact. 80% of OneGoal high school graduates enroll in a postsecondary institution, and 72% of those who enroll persist one year after high school. An independent study by the University of Chicago found that OneGoal students are up to 40% more likely to earn their postsecondary degrees than students from similar backgrounds.
