Partnering for Impact

OneGoal + NYT Communities Fund

Thank You for Joining Us in the Movement
to Transform Postsecondary Advising and Support

OneGoal has been named a partner organization for The New York Times Communities Fund for the second year in a row. The New York Times Communities Fund supports local, national, and global nonprofits that help people improve their circumstances and lead more enriching lives. Thanks to generous supporters, The Fund has raised over $337 million since it was established in 1911.

We extend our deepest gratitude to The New York Times Communities Fund for including us among its beneficiaries.

Every gift to the OneGoal campaign between now and January 15 will be matched dollar for dollar—up to $1 million—thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Elizabeth and Phill Gross.

College + Career Advising

for All Students

Leaders Advancing Opportunity

The OneGoal Leadership Network helps school and district leaders reimagine postsecondary advising and close equity gaps for all their students. Through partnerships across the country, we’re working to transform college and career advising across entire states.

A Class that Changes Futures

OneGoal currently serves nearly 14,000 Fellows directly through the OneGoal Program. Your support can help OneGoal reach thousands more students each year across the country.

Our unique approach, honed over 15 years, prioritizes strong human relationships. And it’s proven to deliver real student impact. An independent study by the University of Chicago found that OneGoal students are up to 40% more likely to earn their postsecondary degrees than students from similar backgrounds.

Together, we can close the opportunity gap between students from low-income communities and their peers from high-income backgrounds. We work side-by-side with partner schools and districts to build their knowledge and capacity. The result is more equitable and effective support for all students.

$1,500 provides a student with a full year of OneGoal instruction, advising, and support proven to dramatically increase postsecondary success. Join us in creating a future where all students can define their own pathways.

Your Impact

Thanks to your support for the New York Times Communities Fund in 2023, we covered a full year of programming for nearly 500 students. OneGoal also hosted in-person summits in each of our six regions for the first time in 2024, uniting students for a day of learning and community engagement. These catalytic experiences are vital to our program outcomes, fostering affiliation, connection, joy, inspiration, and empowerment.
