We’re building a generation of graduates in Massachusetts. 80% of OneGoal high school graduates enroll in a postsecondary institution, and 73% of those students persist one year later.

In Massachusetts’ knowledge-based economy, a postsecondary credential is necessary for a life of opportunity and choice. Yet systemic barriers faced by students from low-income areas prevent them from accessing the tools and support they need to realize their ambitions. These students have every bit of the drive to earn a degree or credential, but within six years of high school graduation, just 28% have a degree, less than half the rate of their peers from high-income backgrounds. The gap is one of opportunity, not ability. OneGoal partners with schools and districts to reimagine systems to ensure that all students can achieve their full potential.

Improving Outcomes at All Levels
In the classroom, we partner with schools and teachers to make college and career planning integral to the high school experiences of students across the state. We also support district leaders with our coaching program, as well as additional district-level training solutions.

A Bold Path for
Equitable Higher Education
OneGoal collaborated with EdTrust, the Collaborative for Higher Education Access & Opportunity (CHEAO), and other leading organizations on a report outlining a strategic blueprint to expand access, improve student outcomes, and strengthen the public higher education system in Massachusetts.
Postsecondary Perseverance
Massachusetts Alum Lunessa thrived in high school as a OneGoal Fellow, but began to encounter obstacles as she shifted to more rigorous college coursework. She leaned on support her support networks, including her OneGoal Program Director, to make it through.
