Location Classification: Location-flexible
Time: While the standard hours for this role are 9:00am – 5:00pm CT, these hours may be subject to change based on seasonal demand or operational requirements. The candidate must be available to work on central time.
Salary Range: $73,483-$82,810 is the hiring salary range (i.e. the range a candidate would be offered to start). Please note: OneGoal aligns salaries to Cost of Labor, so the actual salary offered would be dependent on the Cost of Labor in the candidate’s living location.

The Role
The Executive Assistant to the CEO ensures OneGoal’s CEO can focus her time and energy on realizing OneGoal’s vision that every student will have an equitable opportunity to achieve their greatest postsecondary aspirations. This role manages a complex and fast-moving calendar, coordinates travel, prepares materials for Board and external meetings, and serves as a trusted first point of contact for the CEO’s most important relationships, in close partnership with the Chief of Staff to the CEO. The ideal candidate is highly organized, discreet, and energized by creating order and momentum behind someone else’s vision. They demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and find joy through EA-specific work and project management. They are highly adaptable and navigate change alongside and on behalf of the CEO, striking a partnership-oriented balance between flexibility and strong, predictable systems that support collective accountability.
The role holds the following responsibilities:
Administrative Support with Strong Ability to Prioritize (40%): You provide sound administrative support, including scheduling both internal and external meetings, managing expenses and arranging travel.
Calendar management
- Refining and maintaining a strategic construction of daily and weekly schedule that maximizes the CEO’s time, energy and assets
- Identifying a winning formula against the CEO’s priorities with an ability to make tough trade-offs when multiple requests are being made of the CEO, who has a finite amount of time to execute upon several priorities
- Proactively and reactively supporting the CEO’s sustainable success through the structures above
- Minimal personal scheduling, including some doctors’ appointments when it falls within the work week
Expense management
- Managing the team budget through review of monthly forecasts and current spending
- Completing ongoing expense reports with accuracy for the CEO and Chief of Staff
Operations and Logistics
- Provide key logistical and tactical scheduling support to the National Development Team, who are key partners to the Office of the CEO
- Preparing the CEO for internal and external meetings by gathering necessary documents, details, equipment and details to meet objectives for each meeting
- Planning and executing travel bookings, accommodations and on-the-ground transportation to maximize the CEO’s time
- Partnering with the National and Regional Development Teams to ensure external meetings are fully prepped and closed out afterward
Constituent Communication (30%): Manage correspondence and discrete projects related to the Office of the CEO, both written and orally
- Draft and send tee-ups on behalf of the CEO
- Create and manage an email management system on behalf of the CEO
- Thorough external communication with other executive assistants and external stakeholders; act as strategic gatekeeper and influencer both internally and externally for the CEO
- Following up and through on all communications to ensure each constituent feels valued and respected
- First line of response when a request comes through the Office of the CEO
- Proactively communicate with prospective candidates throughout the hiring process
Organizational + Project Management (30%): You have a strong personal organization system, ability to create teamwide structures to get things done, and an ability to balance multiple priorities concurrently. You will manage multiple self-led projects for the CEO to ensure all deadlines are met with contingencies in place to anticipate challenges/barriers:
- End-to-end project management of Quarterly National Board Meetings
- Scheduling and logistics for Leadership Meetings, OCEO Retreats and Organizational meetings.
- Set vision and direction for CEO Travel Strategy, incorporating org-wide priorities as well as CEO’s personal preferences/constraints
- Project Management, including specialized working groups and talent acquisition.

Qualifications:
- Lived experience of the Fellows we serve (Preferred)
- At least 3 years supporting a high-volume Chief or VP (Preferred)
- Familiar with the Google Business Suite, Zoom, Ramp and Claude (Preferred)
- Available during 9am – 5pm CST business hours with the ability to provide responsive support
- A strong customer service ethic, reliable and precise, even when the pace picks up
- Ability to think critically and strategically and exhibit strong judgment while operating with a high level of organization, attention to detail, and energy
- Travel expected 1-4x a year
Note: this role occasionally requires support outside of traditional business hours.
