This includes nutrition training for lactating mothers including exclusive breast-feeding education; behavior change interventions to increase the knowledge and skills of caregivers of children under five years for improved feeding and caring practices; advocacy for local resources for sustaining nutrition programmes; strengthening the knowledge and skills of community nutrition collaborators and village health workers to enable effective and sustainable facilitation of programmes.
All donations to One Goal will support World Vision Malaysia (WVM) community programmes in Vietnam to improve child nutrition. World Vision Malaysia manages all projects and donations independently within set protocol to continually ensure the proper use of donations received. Before committing support to a project, WVM ensures project feasibility by conducting a thorough appraisal of project plans and budgets based on a needs-assessment. All funding and budget commitments thereafter follow standard World Vision policies. The procedures that follow are then monitored by World Vision Malaysia as well as the local World Vision office in the project country. Once a project is completed, thorough evaluations are performed to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the project execution. All assessments are then documented for future improvements.
